Welcome to Minister Mulkey Ministries

Welcome to Our Church Family

Because of what God has done in my life, my heart remains with the men, women, and young people who find themselves incarcerated.

Many people come to faith in Christ while they are behind bars. But once they are released, they often have no church family, no Christian mentors, and no support system to help them grow in their faith. Like me, many did not grow up in church or around believers. Without Godly relationships, it is easy to return to the same neighborhoods, the same influences, the same addictions, and ultimately the same destructive outcomes.

Minister Mulkey Ministries
Our Story

My heart as a licensed and ordained minister is for the unsheltered, those walking through difficult seasons of life, and those who are incarcerated. Prison ministry is especially close to my heart because my own life was transformed while I was sitting in a jail cell.

I was facing 17 years in prison. It was there, at one of the lowest points of my life, that I cried out to God:

"Lord, if You will take away the taste, the very thought, and the desire for crack cocaine, I will serve You for the rest of my life. Lord, if You will heal my body—I was dying from MRSA—I will serve You."

God heard my cry.

Although I deserved those 17 years, God had a different course for my life. Instead of going to prison, I served nine months in the Marion County Jail in Ocala, Florida. During that time, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ, and everything changed.

Minister Mulkey Ministries exists to help bridge that gap.

We desire to walk alongside those reentering society by connecting them with a community of believers, encouraging spiritual growth, providing mentorship, and helping them faithfully follow Jesus Christ as they begin a new chapter in life.

Our ministry also serves those who are unsheltered and those experiencing difficult seasons. We believe people are not simply looking for a handout—they are often looking for a hand up.

Sometimes that means providing a hot meal, clean clothing, hygiene products, or transportation. Sometimes it means helping a widow pay a bill, picking up medication for someone who is sick, or simply sitting with someone who needs to be heard.

Our Values

Most importantly, it means offering prayer, hope, compassion, and the love of Jesus Christ.

We want to come alongside people where they are and be the hands and feet of Christ—boots on the ground—serving with humility, love, and the Gospel.

We believe every person has value, every life matters to God, and no one is beyond His redeeming grace.
